Very nice starter kit
This was a great starter kit. The pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and aftershave lotion are outstanding. The brush is nice. It sold me on badger hair vs the boar’s hair I had been using. It isn’t the nicest brush I’ve used. That’s because it led me to purchase additional brushes.
The downside of this product… You’re going to buy more. Much more. I’m a huge lavender fan and the Art of Shaving has always been just out of what I would consider a reasonable price range. This starter kit proved that, at times, you really do get what you pay for. Excellent purchase and I would recommend to anyone interested in a great shave.

Good gift for someone who might like Art of Shaving I already use Art of Shaving pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and their upper end badger brush. I have always liked these and especially in the lavender scent. Lavender is so calming and girls always comment on the smell. The pre-shave oil is were it is at especially if you get razor burn easily.I bought these for groomsmen’s gifts with a dopp bag. It was a good way to expose them to this product without investing in the sampler or a full kit. The positive feedback I got from…
Meh + The Sandalwood has a nice smell, the products work as advertised, providing a noticably better shave than the usual goop when used as directed. Thought the others were a little Girly-Mannish aroma-wise, would probably do the Unscented next and just splash on some turpentine or Aqua Velva; whatever happens to be in the bathroom:I have been wet shaving almost since Day One (or 1970) and only now in Year 57 have found that there are better alternatives to the gunk most of us get at…
