Braun Mobile Shaver – M90

Shaves everything without nicking, even my ears. The trimmer is perfect for around the ears and for cutting too-long-to-shave whiskers short enough to shave. In everyday use it runs for several weeks on two AA (lithium) flashlight batteries and lasts almost a year before the foil wears out. I wash mine after every shave, which doesn’t seem to hurt it.

I was looking for replacement heads for a once-in-a-while shaver I use and I no longer could find them. I was considering buying a new shaver and came across this one. It costs about what replacement heads would have cost me so I decided to get it.

Wow, am I impressed. It runs great and does a great job. This is not something I use often….just once in a while when at another location traveling. It runs on two batteries and has a little clipper that pops out to get those pesky hairs.

The shave is good. Don’t expect any fancy tricks here, but you won’t be disappointed if what you want is something smaller and reliable for traveling.

For those of you that want to know how it compares to the Braun Series 3 in size, it’s a bit shorter, thinner, and doesn’t arc. Much easier to carry in a travel bag.

Perfect for What It is, But Foil Not Durable My previous Braun shaver lasted 20 years. So when it finally died recently, I had to look for another Braun. Here’s what I like about the M-90: (1) it’s relatively inexpensive, (2) it’s flat, compact and lightweight so that it packs well for travel, (3) it seems to be well-made and all of the parts work well together, (4) the two included AA alkaline batteries lasted four months of daily use, which was a pleasant surprise (still, I would recommend getting a set of low self-discharge…
