Burt’s Bees used to make Bay Rum shaving soap cakes that lathered well and had a nice scent. Not Really A Shave Cream If you are a classic brush and blade user, that is a badger/bristle shave brush with soap or cream, you will find this product disappointing and possibly unsatisfactory. I have been using creams meant for brush use–Proraso, Cyril Salter, Geo. Trumper, Taylor’s, Art of Shaving, and others–and am used to a lathering cream that works up well with a good brush.
