Gillette’s best blades are now 2X preferred when used with the Fusion ProGlide handle with FlexBall Technology (overall preference vs. former ProGlide, among ProGlide users). Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power razor blades are Gillette’s #1 on sensitive skin.
Reengineered Low Cutting Force Blades feature thinner, finer edges (first 4 blades vs. Fusion) with advanced low-resistance coating to cut effortlessly through hair with less tug and pull than Fusion. A Blade Stabilizer maintains optimal blade spacing for comfort, while allowing the blades to respond to the contours of a man’s face. Plus, the Streamlined Comfort Guard channels excess shaving cream to produce optimal blade contact, stretching the skin for a close, comfortable shave. The innovative MicroComb, exclusive to Fusion ProGlide Power, helps guide stubble to the blades. And the razor’s Enhanced Lubrastrip (vs. Fusion) is infused with mineral oil and lubricating polymers that allow the Gillette Fusion ProGlide to move smoothly over skin, even on repeat strokes.

FAQs
What is FlexBall Technology?
Handles featuring FlexBall Technology allow the blades to respond to the contours of your face for Gillette’s best shave. This means a close shave with fewer missed hairs (vs. Fusion in a single stroke over the contours).
What makes Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power better than Gillette Fusion Power?
The Fusion ProGlide Power family is Gillette’s best shave. The handle features FlexBall Technology that responds to contours for a great shave, even over the trickiest areas.
Gillette Fusion ProGlide and Fusion ProGlide Power share the same core technology: thinner, finer razor blades (the first 4 blades vs. Fusion) that glide through the hair for less tug and pull (vs. Fusion), a low-resistance coating, and the Precision Trimmer Blade. In addition:
The streamlined Comfort Guard with channels to help clear away excess shave prep for a close shave The MicroComb, found exclusively on the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power, helps guide hair to the blade For best results, should the power be turned on or off when using the Precision Trimmer Blade?
The Precision Trimmer Blade can be used with the power turned on or off. Using the Precision Trimmer Blade with or without power is an individual choice.
How long will the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power razor blade refill last?
How long a razor blade refill lasts is dependent on many variables such as beard toughness and thickness, beard preparation, shaving habits, and skin sensitivity. The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power’s reformulated Indicator Lubricating Strip (vs. Fusion) will provide you with a visual cue—it fades to white—when optimal shave conditions have been reduced. When this happens, you might want to consider changing your razor blades to get an optimal shave.
What are thinner, finer blades, and how will they improve my shave?
Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power and ProGlide Manual razors have been engineered with Gillette’s thinnest razor blades ever (the first 4 blades vs. Fusion) to glide through hair with less tug and pull (vs. Fusion).
How was the Precision Trimmer improved over the Fusion?
The razor blade was enhanced and anti-clogging rinse slots were added.
What is the Streamlined Comfort Guard, and what are its benefits?
Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power features a Streamlined Comfort Guard. The soft, flexible material surrounds the Microfins, creating an outer edge that wraps around the sides of the razor blade head and channels away excess shave prep for optimal razor blade contact.
Have there been any enhancements to the Lubrastrip vs. Gillette Fusion?
Yes. It contains more lubricants and a touch of mineral oil.
Will Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power razor blade refills fit any other razors on the market?
Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power razor blade refills fit any Gillette Fusion or Gillette Fusion ProGlide handle, including those featuring Power and FlexBall Technology.

My trick to making each blade last months 0
Expensive, but provides a good shave I like both the Fusion Proglide Power and manual blades and tend to simply buy whichever I can find for the best price when I need more blades. The difference between the two — the “microcomb” at the edge of the Power’s cartridge, which allegedly exists to “help guide the hair to the blades,” seems like a silly concept to me. Then again, I’m a daily shaver and my hair isn’t so long after one day that it needs to be “guided” into the razor blade. :)I do like the Fusion line…
