New to epilation…
I waxed last summer with veet wax strips and liked not having to shave all the time. This year I decided to try out epilation, I did some research and decided to go with the remington because it got great reviews and the price was right. It takes longer than waxing, but is less painful since it isn’t ripping your skin also. I’ve only had the epilator for a few days, but have used it on my arms, legs (twice) and arm pits and am very pleased with the results. I have very dark medium coarse hair but not a whole lot of it. I have found that hair removal works best when the device power button is turned away from you, which isn’t the way I started out doing it, but the hair is removed much more efficiently when held that way instead of the power button facing you.

We’ll see… That said, this epilator is great on it’s own.Advice for new epilator owners:1)Shower & exfoliate prior to use.2)VERY, VERY important. Put baby powder wherever you plan on epilating. It allows the epilator to grab the hair better.3) It’s going to hurt…
So far, so great! I have read a million reviews on epilators before deciding on this one (I’m on a budget) and noticed that it’s important to know more about the reviewer so here are some things about me that may help in your decision.-This is my first ever epilator.- I have waxed twice before on my legs and once before on my underarms within the last 5 years.- I have thin, blonde hair on my legs and coarse dark hair on my underarms.- I’m Caucasian, female and 20 years old…
