So far a solid all around experience
After searching for an all in one personal groomer, I ended up choosing the Wahl 9818. It arrived in the mail and I plugged it in for an hour to make sure it was fully charged. I then started messing with different attachments. I will say for the record that I am not a very hairy guy, in fact I have very little hair compared to most of my friends and family. Anyhow I started on my chest with the main trimmer and it worked great. I then used the eyebrow piece and also no complaints, and same with the nose attachment. Then I moved on to a more….sensitive area. I’m going to speak bluntly here because this may be the reason you are looking to purchase this unit. I have sensitive skin in general and especially in the groin area, so I don’t like to shave with a razor down there. On the area above my dick I just used the standard trimmer and worked great, took off just about everything with little irritation. For my balls and weird angled areas, I used the #1 or shortest attachment to ensure no nicks or cuts. This also worked well and while there is obviously a very little amount of hair left, I am very satisfied with the result, and feel it served its purpose flawlessly. Overall I am very satisfied so far and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good all in one groomer.

The last trimmer you purchase I just got this so I don’t have a long term view of it, but I had previously purchased cheap plastic trimmers with NICAD or NIMH batteries that lasted for a couple months or so then died. I decided I wanted to purchase the last trimmer I’d ever need (unless I lost it!), and this trimmer fits the bill.
